Foreclosure Prevention Services
The Minnesota Home Ownership Center works with a network of more than 20 different Minnesota-based non-profit and governmental agencies that offer foreclosure counseling services. Specially-trained counselors can provide information on the foreclosure process and offer personalized assistance to identify resources you may be able to access to become or stay current, help develop a household spending plan, or even negotiate on your behalf with your lender or servicer for repayment strategies. The Sustainable Home Ownership Program (SHOP) is a non-profit program of the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation in partnership with Dayton’s Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services. SHOP can assist families facing the possibility of losing their homes. Call SHOP at 651-793-8900.
