2023 Spring/Summer Internship Information

The Spring/Summer internship information and application will be posted on the city's job opportunities webpage  Spring/Summer internships typically begin in May and conclude in August and will include a variety of program and event planning, facility management experience, youth and adult athletics, and administrative tasks.  Internships may be customized to individual interest to ensure a well-rounded experience.

Roseville Parks and Recreation has crafted an active and meaningful internship opportunity for students in the fields of Parks & Recreation, Communications & Marketing, Youth Studies, Sports Management, or other related fields.

We have designed an excellent learning experience for all seasons of the year, complete with facility management opportunities, special event planning, program and staff management, and administrative skills development.

Roseville Parks and Recreation is a four-time recipient of the NRPA Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies and has been awarded the NRPA Gold Medal Award.


Facilities

Roseville is proud to be home to a number of unique facilities - the Guidant John Rose MN OVAL, the Roseville Skating Center, Cedarholm Golf Course, the Roseville Gymnastics Center, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, the Frank Rog Amphitheater, Neighborhood Park Buildings, and Muriel Sahlin Arboretum.

Roseville is also home to an award winning parks system. Residents of Roseville are truly proud of the 30 parks, 679 acres of parkland and open space, and 67 miles of trails and walkways found within steps of their backyards, and through out their neighborhoods and their community.
