The 2014 gardening season is almost upon us, and last year's gardeners are welcome to renew their garden plot rental until April 4, 2014.

We hope you can join us in 2014 forthis years gardening season.

Registrations may be mailed, faxed, or delivered in person to Roseville Parks and Recreation at:

2014 Registration Schedule
February19 - April 4, 2014
Returning Roseville Resident Gardeners: A maximum of one double plot per household is allotted and the plot, or plots, must be the same ones as last year. If you wish to change to a different plot from the one you had last year, Friday, April 4, 2014, has been set aside for returning Roseville resident gardeners seeking to change plots only. If you do not renew the rental of your last year’s plot by April 4, it will be made available to other Roseville residents as of Monday,April 7, 2014.

Monday, April 7 - Friday, April 18
Roseville Residents: Open to Roseville residents on first come-first served basis with a maximum of one double plot per household.

Monday, April 21
Open to All: Any remaining garden plots will be available to all interested renters, on a first come-first served basis, with a maximum of one double plot per household.

Plot sizes and Fees:
  • Single Plot = 15’ x 20’$16
  • Double Plot = 15’ x 40’ $26
Tuesday, April 29, 2014
At 6 p.m., we will hold our Annual Community Gardeners Meeting at Roseville City Hall. Please come and meet your community garden neighbors, share gardening ideas and receive information about upcoming MN Green seed and plant distributions.There will also be information about safe use of pesticides. We hope you have a great growing season!

The Oasis Park Community Gardens will continue to be participating in the Minnesota Green Program. Minnesota Green is a 22-year old program, administered by the Minnesota State Horticultural Society, that distributes free plants and seed material, that has been donated by various nurseries and garden center, free to community garden spaces throughout the Twin Cities.

Please remember that the donated seeds and plants are for use in the community garden, and may not be taken home, or given away to friends, or family members. More information will be available here as soon as the dates of distribution are announced.
