The City of Roseville partners with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office to provide county-wide community alerts and notifications in emergencies. The program sends geographically targeted communications during critical incidents, including:
Lost, abducted or missing children or vulnerable adults
Increases in crime (e.g., crime alerts for neighborhoods and businesses)
Bioterrorism and hazardous materials or chemical spills
Sex (predatory) offenders
Fires and evacuations
Other countywide alerts
The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department manages a nationally compiled database specific for our community. The emergency system uses your address to send targeted messages. However, not all contact information is in the database.
The City of Roseville encourages anyone who lives or works in Roseville to sign up to receive notifications. You’ll be asked to enter your home and work addresses, along with landline and mobile phone numbers and email addresses. This will ensure that anyone in the immediate area receives alerts and notifications when needed. When signing up, a person can choose to receive notifications by phone, text or email. Contact information remains private and will only be used for community notifications.
