Signal system upgrade, ADA improvements set to begin Monday, April 19 in Roseville
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is replacing the signal systems at two intersections on Highway 51/Snelling Avenue in Roseville beginning Monday, April 19. The project also will include upgrading pedestrian/bicycle crossings to meet Americans with Disability Act standards at each intersection.
Work began the week of April 19th at the intersection of Snelling Avenue and County Road C2 and the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Roselawn Avenue. Some closures on County Road C2 and Roselawn may be needed to complete the work. During the closures, motorists will follow a signed detour to reach their destinations.
Weather permitting, all work will be completed by late June.
All motorists are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time, and check 511 for updates.
