Most trees and shrubs need pruning at sometime, and plantings in the right-of-way are no exception.  City staff maintains the right-of-way and is trained and experienced in the latest pruning techniques.  Staff also prunes trees or shrubs on private property that cause either a visiblity or safety concern on public property.
