It's an edible operetta adventure. Join us on Sept. 13 at 4:00 p.m. at Muriel Sahlin Arboretum as Alcina, ferocious truck stop waitress and sorceress in disguise, slings up some magic grub in the retelling of Handel’s 1735 opera.
Chef Nick Schneider will also be on hand to tempt your taste buds as crafts a tasty sampling menu for the audience.
Each summer the Mixed Precipitation Theater Company presents a picnic operetta. It’s a lively theater experience held at community gardens and green spaces throughout the Twin Cities. They provide a five-course tasting menu of locally grown, performance-inspired delicacies that is served during the show.
Suggested donation of $10 to $20 per person. Tickets are available at mixedprecipitation.org. Please bring blankets or lawn chairs.
