Spring is around the corner, and that means potholes. As temperatures fluctuate, water gets into cracks in the pavement, then when the temperature drops the water freezes causing the asphalt to pop out, creating a pothole.
The City of Roseville streets crew make repairs to potholes and other roadway cracks in order of priority. Street crews will install a temporary patch and then prioritize the problems by size, number, and traffic volume to see if more extensive repairs are needed.
