Roseville Police remind you to plan carefully before visiting a park. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Thieves know that visitors often leave purses, cell phones, laptops, GPS devices and other valuables in cars.
When hiking or picnicking, vehicles can become easy targets in parking lots. Consider wearing a backpack to carry your valuables. If you don’t want to carry them, leave them at home. Do not put something in your trunk or under your seat while at a park. Thieves may be watching and note what you are doing.
