Absentee voting for the 2016 presidential election begins September 23. Residents can vote through the mail by filling out an application at www.mnvotes.org or call 651-266-2171 to have one mailed.
Allow at least one week to receive, complete and return the ballot before the November 8 election. A person may register to vote, complete the ballot application, and vote all at the same time.
In-Person Absentee Voting: Ramsey County residents may vote in person during the 45 days prior to the election at the Ramsey County Office of Elections located at 90 W. Plato Blvd. in St. Paul. Hours for in-person absentee voting at Ramsey County are:
September 23 to October 28 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, October 31 - 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Vote Early: Ramsey County residents may vote early the week before the election. When a person “votes early” the voter feeds the ballot through the ballot counter and the ballot is immediately tallied. Hours for voting early at Ramsey County are:
November 1, 2 and 3 - 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, November 4 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 5 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 6 - 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday, November 7 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Roseville residents may also vote early at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, beginning November 1. Hours for voting early at Roseville City Hall are:
November 1 and 2 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, November 3 - 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday, November 4 - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 5 - 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Monday, November 7 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
