Kids, let’s learn a little magic. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 North Dale St., for a fun spring break camp. We’ll discover the magic of maple trees and how to make syrup.
We’ll try some tree tapping, uncover the story in growth rings, make helicopter seed spinning toys, and create a maple leaf art piece. On the last day of camp, we’ll mix up a pancake lunch with real maple syrup.
Mornings of fun nature education and afternoons of nature-related recreation await you, including swimming at an indoor pool. This fun camp meets March 6-10, from 8:00 a.m. with pick up by 5:00 p.m. It is specially designed for boys and girls in first to fifth grades.
Kids can sign up for three days ($124 regular or $116 for Roseville residents) or for the entire week ($191 regular or $183 for Roseville residents).
