The Community Development department is requesting feedback from residents regarding a proposed development on an 8.71-acre parcel located near the southeast corner of County Road D and Old Highway 8.
Sand Development, LLC, has proposed the development of a 209-unit lifestyle community (“Edison”). The parcel is currently zoned for High Density Residential housing.
The City Council will consider local financing options at its June 5 meeting, including Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, and the Community Development department would like to hear residents’ thoughts on the project prior to that meeting.
