As part of its commitment to make Roseville a more walkable community, the City is completing work on several gaps in walkways to connect pedestrian pathways and sidewalks to improve public safety.
The new pahtways also give pedestrians easier access to major intersections and bus stops or street crossings.
The City is finishing four sections this fall. They include:
- Adding a sidewalk on the west side of Victoria St. from County Road C north to the Owasso Ballfields. The new Applewood Pointe development just north of the ballfields installed a sidewalk. This installation connects their property to County Road C.
- Adding a sidewalk on the east side of Lexington Ave., between Burke Ave. and Ryan Ave., completing the connection between County Road B and Roselawn Ave.
- Adding a sidewalk on the north side of County Road B from Dale St. to Sandhurst Dr.
- Adding a trail from Farrington Ave. to Tamarack Park, providing a walking connection from the new playground to the street, which will be the main access to the park.
