Residents, here’s your chance to review Roseville’s draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update. It is available at www.cityofroseville.com/compplan. Printed copies are also available for review at City Hall.
A comprehensive plan guides the growth, redevelopment and overall improvement of a city. Cities update their Comp Plan every 10 years, recalibrating it to ensure that it continues to reflect the community’s collective vision for its future and aligns with the Metropolitan Council’s plan for the region.
For more than a year, the City of Roseville has been gathering community input and working to update Roseville’s Comprehensive Plan. The city held community meetings, listening sessions and other opportunities for residents and businesses to provide input into the 2040 Comp Plan Update.
Up until now, the effort has focused on individual topics. Each chapter was developed, discussed and refined. Now that all of the chapters have been drafted, the entire comprehensive plan can be reviewed as a whole, making it easier to see how individual chapters relate to the rest of the comprehensive plan.
Residents are encouraged to review Roseville’s draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update. It is available at www.cityofroseville.com/compplan. Printed copies are available for review at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Call 651-792-7073 if you have questions.
The city will hold several public meetings at which the draft comprehensive plan will be discussed. All meetings will be in the City Council chambers. Meetings are open to the public and available online at www.cityofroseville.com/webstreaming or on Cable Channel 16.
