There are several free park and ride lots in Roseville to help fairgoers avoid parking hassles. Checkout the map of free park and ride areas is available on the Minnesota State Fair website.
The city occasionally receives questions about state fair parking in their neighborhoods. Several of the lots are located on commercial property and are a permitted use under city code. The park and ride lots at churches and Roseville Area High School are allowed under an interim use permit. The permit is reviewed every five years. As part of interim use permit agreement, the Minnesota State Fair is required to keep areas clean and safe and to have a police officer patrol the park and ride areas to enforce laws, including not blocking driveways.
