Volunteers will be out in force on October 13, building a playground at Unity Park, 1716 Marion St. One of the city's two new parks, Unity Park is located in southeast Roseville and sits among several apartment buildings.
The apartments are often the first homes for refugees to the United States. Families in the area had few options for kids to play, so community members, businesses and places of worship worked with the City of Roseville to support adding the new park to Roseville’s park system.
The city expects more than 75 volunteers to participate in the playground build, including a large group of volunteers from Grace Church Roseville.
