The City Council is seeking applicants for vacancies on the Finance Commission and the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission. The commissions serve as voluntary advisory boards to the City Council.
Finance Commission
Two vacancies for terms expiring March 31, 2022
The Finance Commission focuses on the budget process, financial policies, recommendations on funding strategies for the capital improvement plan and budget goals and objectives in such areas as local tax rate and spending targets. The commission meets the second Tuesday of the month.
Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission
One vacancy for a term expiring March 31, 2020, and one vacancy for a term expiring March 31, 2022
The HRIEC encourages participation in the affairs of the city and advises the council on programs and efforts that could improve civic engagement and community relations, and human rights. It advises the City Council regarding the effective and meaningful involvement of Roseville residents in local government, and proposes activities to increase understanding, engagement and inclusion. They meet the third Wednesday of the month.
