Got an hour – learn how to save a life. Roseville firefighters invite you to one of their free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes at the Roseville Library.
Firefighters will teach an easy-to-learn hands-only CPR technique. They will bring mannequins for participants to practice hands-only CPR.
Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops and can no longer pump blood to the brain or vital organs. According to the American Heart Association, only about one in 10 heart attack victims survives. By using hands-only CPR, we may be able to improve those odds.
Hands-only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by anyone who sees a person collapse suddenly. It can be used temporarily until professional help arrives.
Call 651-792-7009 if you have questions. Registration is not necessary.
