Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape. Roseville firefighters remind you that when it comes to fire safety, anyone can be a hero. It's easy to do.
Encourage your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to develop and practice an escape plan in case of a fire. Though seemingly simple, basic actions can have a life-saving impact.
An escape plan includes working smoke alarms on every level of the home, in every bedroom and near all sleeping areas. It includes two ways out of every room, with a clear path to an outside meeting place that’s a safe distance from the home or business. All members of the household or place of business are encouraged to practice the escape plan twice a year.
