Celebrate the Year of the Rat. On Sunday, February 2, Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) invites you to celebrate Chinese New Year, The Year of the Rat, at its annual open house from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate the playful and curious side of rats. Explore the traits that all rodents share, enjoy Chinese New Year crafts and traditional treats, check out the nature center, explore the boardwalk and enjoy informative exhibits.
The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will also hold an open house on February 2. This is a once-a-year opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at this busy animal hospital.
