Pick up free compost and wood chips from the bins in front of Roseville’s Leaf Recycling Center at 2580 Dale St., located just south of County Road C, or sign up for home delivery that begin on May 1.
This nutrient rich compost boosts your soil and helps your garden. Wood chips make a great ground cover that reduces time needed for weeding, saves water, nourishes soil and reduces the need for chemical weed killers or herbicides.
The gates to the Leaf Recycling Center will be open until May 4, letting residents drive in to drop off leaves or to pick up compost and wood chips.
Beginning in April 15, Roseville residents will be able to sign up to have up to six cubic yards of compost and wood chip deliveries to their homes. The delivery charge is $40 per load. Deliveries will begin in early May. Delivery timing is dependent on the weather.
