Roseville is kicking off another year of the Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP). NEP offers a proactive approach to inspecting private property, looking for code violations and working with property owners.
In 2013, the program expanded to include multi-family, commercial, and industrial properties. Over the years, the city has refined the inspection process. This year beginning in early June, staff will visit properties in the northern half of the city.
Since its beginning, violations have steadily dropped. In the first year of the program, eight percent of properties had city code or public nuisance violations. Violations have since dropped to less than four percent of properties. Learn more about NEP at www.cityofroseville.com/NEP or call 651-792-7014.
