Absentee voting for the 2020 general election begins on Friday, September 18. To minimize direct contact with others, Ramsey County is encouraging voters to vote by mail.
All Minnesota voters are eligible to vote by mail. It is easy to do, as long as you plan ahead. Voters can apply for an absentee ballot online at mnvotes.org or call 651-266-2171 to have an application sent to you.
Once a signed application is received by the county, a ballot will be mailed. If you are not registered to vote, a registration form will be included with the ballot. An unregistered voter must have a registered voter serve as a witness for a ballot to be accepted.
If a Roseville voter wants to cast an absentee ballot in person, they may do so at any of the Ramsey County absentee voting locations. A person may complete an absentee ballot application, register to vote and vote all at the same time.
