[ARCHIVED] What to know about the snow

Roseville does not declare snow emergencies; instead, crews plow streets after the snow event ends unless it's a really heavy snow.

Do Not Park on a city street until after the snow has stopped falling and your street has been plowed curb to curb. If your vehicle is on the street after 2” of snow has fallen, you could be ticketed and towed.

Do Not Shovel Snow onto the Right of Ways, Streets, Pathways or Neighbor’s Property - It is unlawful to shovel snow from driveways and residences into the right of ways, streets or pathways. This blocks visibility, delays plowing and causes traffic hazards for the traveling public. Do not shovel snow onto your neighbor’s property.

Call 651-792-7004 to report hazardous conditions or to get information related to snow plowing.

For more information read our Snow & Ice Control Policy.
