Learn how to talk to your kids about safety.
To commemorate National Missing Children's Day, May 25, the City of Roseville, the state of Minnesota, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and others are asking adults and community organizations to Take 25 minutes during the month of May to talk to children about ways to be safe.
Initiating the conversation can be difficult, so Roseville invites you to a Take 25 Initiative hosted by Rosedale Center. Roseville Police and Fire, along with McGruff the Crime Dog, the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, Allina, AAA and others will be on hand to offer tips to start the conversation and to share safety information with you and your children. The event will include bike helmet giveaways to the first 50 kids, child identification kits, as well as police squad car, fire truck, and ambulance tours.
