The Roseville City Council will review the city’s public nuisance regulations regarding the parking and storage of RVs, boats and trailers on public streets and in private driveways at its March 10 meeting.
Residents are invited to attend the meeting and share their thoughts on the topic. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive, beginning at 6 p.m.
The review is taking place in response to citizens’ concerns on the subject that have been raised with the Council. Current code limits parking utility trailers to a maximum of three days on front yard driveway. Currently the city has no restriction on parking RVs, boats and trailers on public streets or driveways, though few are parked for extended periods on public streets, according to city code staff.
The council will consider whether to retain the existing regulations or amend the code to require specified setbacks, conditions, or time limits.
For more information relating to the Request for Council Action on this matter, please review the March 10 Agenda and Council packet. The information will be available at www.cityofroseville.com by the close of business on Thursday, March 6.
Meetings are open to the public. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can watch on Channel 16 or online at www.cityofroseville.com/webstreaming.
