Celebrate the start of improvements and renewal for Roseville’s parks and recreation system. Join us on Saturday, May 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Lexington Park, 2131 Lexington Ave North, to view project plans, learn more about timelines and ask questions.
For the kids we’ll have a bounce castle, puppet wagon, crafts and treats.
Mayor Dan Roe, Councilmembers and Parks and Recreation Commissioners will join City Manager Pat Trudgeon and Parks and Recreation Director Lonnie Brokke in a symbolic kick off for the renewal program at 2:00 pm.
This is the next step of a multi-year effort to improve Roseville’s parks system. The renewal program includes improvements and repairs to parks, natural resources, trails and recreation facilities throughout Roseville. Construction will be done in stages, with completion scheduled for the fall of 2016.
This event had originally been scheduled for May 3, but because of scheduling concerns, logistics and weather considerations, it has been delayed until May 31.
