[ARCHIVED] HANC Volunteers Needed

Share your love of nature. Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) is looking for volunteers, 18 years and older, to staff the nature center front desk. It’s a fun way to meet new friends, and it looks great on a resume.

Training is provided. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, helping with office projects and checking out equipment, among other responsibilities.

Shifts are available weekdays or weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Volunteer on a weekly or monthly basis. Please contact Rick Schultz at 651-792-7104 or if you are interested in volunteering.

HANC, 2520 North Dale Street, is an oasis of natural beauty and tranquility nestled within the borders of Roseville. Trails meander through 52 acres of marsh, prairie and forest habitats. The Nature Center provides protection for hundreds of animal and plant species. Get more information at or 651-792-7012.
