Are you an individual who is interested in public health? Do you have a working knowledge of the health care profession? The Block Nurse Program (BNP) Reinvention Task Force Steering Committee is looking for you.
In October, the Roseville City Council authorized formation of a task force to investigate professional and volunteer medical and social services currently and potentially available locally to Roseville residents. The task force is forming now and accepting applications.
The BNP Task Force will meet for approximately six months beginning in February. During that time, the task force will examine what health-related services are available to Roseville residents of all ages, conduct a community needs assessment, assess strengths and restrictions in existing service programs, and prepare a report of its findings for the City Council.
For more information on the BNP Task Force, contact Sara Barsel at sara.barsel@q.com. Task force applications are available from Volunteer Coordinator Kelly O’Brien at kelly.obrien@ci.roseville.mn.us. The deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, January 21, 2015. The first task force meeting will meet at City Hall on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
