[ARCHIVED] Wild Time at the OVAL

Things are getting Wild at the OVAL. The National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild will host a free outdoor practice on Sunday, December 21, at the Minnesota OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive, Roseville.

The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon, with the Wild taking the ice for practice at 11 a.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Fans are invited to come early, from 9 to 11 a.m. for photos with live reindeer, a visit from Santa, a Nordy appearance, and free open skating. Rental skates will be available for a small fee.

The Minnesota OVAL is the largest outdoor refrigerated skating facility in North America. It features a 110,000 square foot surface used for speedskating, bandy, skating, and hockey in the winter and inline skating in the summer and fall.
