Roseville’s Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) building will be closed through the month of December. It is undergoing a major renovation project. The upgrade is part of the Roseville’s system-wide Park Renewal Program.
The renovations will include upgrading the heating and electrical system, adding air conditioning, renovating the kitchen, restroom, and exhibit areas, and installing a new display area and front desk. The building will reopen in early January.
HANC is a hidden treasure in Roseville. Located at 2520 North Dale St., it is an oasis of natural beauty and tranquility. It is home to hundreds of species of animal and plant life. The nature center has a boardwalk and trails that circulate through 52 acres of marsh, prairie and forest habitats.
