The stigma and misperceptions about mental illnesses can lead to a life of suffering for a person with a mental illness and for their families and friends. The Human Rights Commission (HRC) is hosting a free community conversation about mental illness.
The HRC invites you to explore myths and misinformation about people living with a mental illness. Participants will learn what we can do to prevent mental illnesses and how we can provide early intervention. We’ll explore ways to make our community more knowledgeable and more inclusive for all.
