Quilting returns to City Hall. Stop in and see the artistry of the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters. You will find beautiful wall quilts throughout City Hall. The quilts are from the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters 2014 challenge theme of “Cycles.”
Thirty-five members of MCQ have created quilts with their own interpretations of Cycles. Look for a cocoon, a bicycle tire, inspiration from Leonardo DaVinci, washing machines, and lots of recycled fabric.
The quilts will be on display through mid-April. Roseville City Hall is located at the corner of Lexington and County Road C. City Hall is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
Minnesota Contemporary Quilters Guild has about 100 amateur and professional quilters and fiber artists, many from the Roseville area. Get more information at www.mncontemporaryquilters.net.
