Planning Commission Opening

What does it mean for a community to be Safe and Law Abiding as well as Welcoming, Inclusive, and Respectful? How does our changing demographics that includes immigrants, refugees and undocumented immigrants affect our community? Roseville will continue the conversation with back-to-back discussions about issues surrounding immigration. A panel discussion get things started on May 3, followed by small table discussions at the May 4 for meeting. Read more

2018 Budget Process Underway

Roseville's annual budget is approximately $52 million. With this level of investment, it’s important for residents and businesses to let the City know if the budget reflects the community’s priorities. Over the next several months, the Roseville City Council will hold meetings to listen to the community, identify priorities, review strategies and set the 2018 budget. The City Council encourages residents to participate in public meetings and share their thoughts about the next budget.  Read more

Advance Care Planning

CHAT: Advanced Care Planning

When you need medical care, who will speak for you if you are not able? Find out how to make sure your medical care choices are honored on Saturday, April 22 at the Roseville Library. Roseville’s Community Health Awareness Team (CHAT) is hosting a free Advance Care Planning (ACP) discussion at the Library, 2180 Hamline Ave N., from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ACP is a process that helps you consider and record your choices for future health care decisions. Read more

Deer Management Report

The City of Roseville conducted a City Council approved deer management plan in January. The plan employed United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) sharpshooters to reduce the local deer population by 20 animals. Management efforts took place in three Roseville locations – Owasso Hills Park, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, and the Leaf Recycling Center – and were completed in one evening on January 31. Read more

Citywide Garage Sale

Citywide Garage Sale

Roseville will help make your garage sale a little better. Join us as the City sponsors a garage sale extravaganza that will help bring customers to your door June 1-3. For $10, Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will include your address on a list and a map of garage sales that will take place in Roseville on Thursday, June 1; Friday, June 2; and Saturday, June 3. Sales can start at 8:00 a.m. and must be completed by 6:00 p.m. Read more

Roseville Named Tree City USA

Celebrate Arbor Day and plant a tree! Friday, April 28 is Arbor Day in the City of Roseville. Trees add beauty, produce oxygen and buffer traffic noise. They can make homes more energy efficient. In honor of Arbor Day, the Arbor Day Foundation has named Roseville a 2017 Tree City USA. To become a Tree City USA, a community must have a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, comprehensive community forestry program and an Arbor Day observance. Read more

Sidewalk Reparis

Sidewalk Work at City Hall

If you plan to stop in at City Hall next week, please use a little extra care. Beginning April 24, the City will be replacing the uneven sidewalk in front of the main entrance to City Hall, weather permitting. The building will be accessible, but one set of doors will be closed while work is being completed. The work will take approximately two weeks to complete. Read more
