Conservation Grant

Roseville Receives Grant 

The City of Roseville and its residents are committed to protecting our natural resources. Thanks to that commitment, Roseville is the recipient of a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources grant. Roseville has received a Conservation Partners Legacy grant worth $353,572. The funding will be used to improve and diversify wildlife habitat on more than 360 acres in Central Park/Bennett Lake, Acorn Park, Pioneer Park and Reservoir Woods Park. Read more

Helping your Snowplow Driver

Last week’s snowstorm packed quite a wallop. Roseville’s snowplow drivers had their work cut out for them – about a foot of snow in a little over 12 hours. Roseville has more than 350 lane miles and nearly 70 miles of sidewalks and pathways to clear after each snow event. It takes up to eight hours to plow the city following a four-inch snowfall, and the more snow that falls, the longer it takes. Check out these tips for helping drivers plow more efficiently.

Rose Parade

Be a Part of the Rose Parade

Do you want to be in the 2018 Rose Parade? The Rose Parade Committee is accepting applications for the annual Rose Parade that will take place on Monday, June 25. But act fast, there are limited spaces available in the parade. The parade is limited to 90 entrants. Consideration for parade placement is based on application receipt date and the need to provide a variety of entrant types throughout the route. Read more

Spring Break Camp

Kids, get a little muddy this spring break. Join your friends to explore what’s beneath our feet. Follow animal tracks, create gooey mixtures, make a mud cake, tap a maple tree and try a tasty maple treat. Join us for this unique spring break camp. Mornings are full of nature education and afternoons feature nature-related recreation including swimming at a nearby community center. This muddy fun camp meets March 5 to March 9 and is designed for boys and girls in first to fifth grades. Read more
