Candidate Forum

Where do the candidates for Mayor and City Council offices stand on the issues? Find out when the Roseville Area League of Women Voters puts the races in the spotlight during a candidate forum on Thursday, October 4. The candidate forum is open to the public and will take place from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. The forum will be shown live on Roseville Cable Channel 16. A webstream of the forum will also be available. Read more

Congratulations to the Roseville Community Development Department. In September, the department received a Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Leaders in Local Government Award. The Community Development Department’s Economic Development Authority (EDA) was recognized for its business retention and expansion efforts. Roseville’s EDA was created in 2016 to encourage impactful economic development in the city. Read more

REAL ID Update

REAL ID Update

There’s been a lot of discussion about Minnesotans getting a REAL ID. Passed in 2005, the federal REAL ID Act aims to tighten security standards around driver’s licenses and state-issued ID cards. Applying for a REAL ID compliant card requires additional documentation compared to the requirements for a standard Minnesota driver's license. Nextdoor Continues to Grow

In April 2012, Roseville introduced Nextdoor.com, a private social network designed to help neighbors get to know each other. Today, 25 percent of households in Roseville have signed up for Nextdoor. Nextdoor creates private websites that allow neighbors to get to know each other, exchange local advice and ask questions. There are currently more than 7,000 Nextdoor users in Roseville. Read more

Art Academy

Fall Break Art Academy

Kids, are you looking for a fun way to spend your fall break? Paint, draw and sculpt at Roseville’s Art Academy, taught by KidCreate Studio. Join us on October 18 and 19 at Oasis Park Building, 1700 County Road C2. The camp will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. both days and is especially designed for kids ages 5 to 12. Campers will experiment with different techniques, materials and styles to create snow globes, art pieces and clay characters. Cost is $62. Read more
