Recycling

Roseville contracts with Eureka Recycling for recycling service on behalf of residents. Recycling is picked up every week on the same day of the week as garbage. The city is divided into zones which determine the day of service. Service will be delayed a day for certain holidays.

It is not necessary to signup for recycling. Just have your material at the curb by 7 am. It's helpful to put recycling on the opposite side of the driveway from your trash. Put your recycling in 18-gallon bins (or smaller), boxes or paper bags. Free bins, lids and wheel kits can be picked up at City Hall. Seniors and people with disabilities may sign up with Eureka Recycling for free walk up service where the driver will pick up your recyclables at your garage door or stoop.

Recyclable materials need to be separated into two groups.

You may have heard of the three Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. It's more important to reduce than reuse which in turn is more important than to recycle. Putting all three into personal practice benefit the economy and the environment.
