Roseville switched to Single Sort Recycling on February 17.  Roseville contracts with Eureka Recycling for recycling service on behalf of residents. Recycling is picked up every other week.  The city is divided into zones which determine the day of service. Service will be delayed a day for certain holidays.

If you would like to start recycling, or would like a different size bin, contact Eureka Recycling.  With Single Sort recycling, paper products, bottles & cans can be placed in the same bin, excluding type 3 & 6 plastics.  You can also recycle clean and dry Clothes and Linens by placing them into a labeled sturdy plastic bag set beside your cart.

Recycling should be placed at the curb by 7 am, and it's helpful to put recycling on the opposite side of the driveway from your trash.  Seniors and people with disabilities may sign up with Eureka Recycling for free walk up service where the driver will pick up your recyclables at your garage door or stoop.

You may have heard of the three Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.  It's more important to reduce than reuse which in turn is more important than to recycle.  Putting all three into personal practice benefit the economy and the environment.
